  • What are web beacons? Web beacons are small electronic files (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) on webpages that permit a website owner like TruLite to, for example, count users who have visited those pages and collect other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity). No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
